Headlong Hearts

Together since 2017, the five-piece Headlong Hearts craft catchy and poignant original songs, sing in stacked harmony, and weave their musical fabric on violin, banjo, mandolin, guitars, bass and drums. They are known for their live show that sees audiences inspired by their lyrics, lifted by their melodies, fired up by their playing, and amused by their repartee. Headlong Hearts are always busy playing concerts, festivals, and events in Vancouver and around western Canada. In March 2025 they released their second all-original album titled Creatures of Habit.

Mom Cuts My Hair

MCMH (Mom Cuts My Hair) is led by singer/songwriter/guitarist Justine Do and guitarist Teah Elaschuk. Teah draws on her classical guitar background and love for punk, noise rock, and post-hardcore. Justine, who we consider our resident pop historian, enjoys pushing the boundaries of traditional song structure while still employing her great ear for melody and rhythm. Shimmy (drums) and Iain (bass) keep the beat and make the dream work. Our lyrics explore themes of mortality, fallibility, hubris, curiosity, wonder, and hope.

Jeremy Stewart

Jeremy Stewart is a singer-songwriter originally from northern British Columbia, lately of White Rock. His songs celebrate the folding and unfolding of being, and might remind the listener at times of Neil Young or Nirvana. Over twenty-five years as a performing artist, he has toured Canada and shared stages or collaborated with artists like Stanley Zappa, Raghu Lokanathan, Geoff Berner, Oxbow, and Lightning Bolt. Jeremy once dropped a piano off a building.
