About White Rock BIA

Our Story

Connecting Community and Business Since 2005

White Rock is more than a beautiful seaside city — it’s a community built on local pride, small businesses, and shared experiences.

Since 2005, the White Rock Business Improvement Association (BIA) has worked to keep that spirit thriving by connecting residents, visitors, and local businesses through events, advocacy, and community initiatives.

Representing Businesses and Property Owners

We represent more than 600 businesses and property owners across four vibrant districts – Uptown, Five Corners, East Beach, and West Beach.

Our work includes everything from organizing major festivals and marketing local shops, to improving public spaces and supporting business owners with resources and information. As a non-profit organization, we’re guided by the belief that a strong local economy and a welcoming community go hand in hand.

We collaborate with the City of White Rock, the South Surrey & White Rock Chamber of Commerce, and the Semiahmoo First Nation to make our city by the sea a great place to live, work, and visit.

“When our businesses thrive, our community thrives.”
